Because in Maharishi Ayurveda, Abhyanga is meant to be given that way. Two therapists work in synchrony and in silence, so both sides of the body receive the same stroke at the same moment.
This is the classical form and the standard in Maharishi Ayurveda rather than an upgrade. A one-therapist version is available at €110, with the same purpose and the same oils.
Unless a Vaidya has chosen a specific oil for you, we use a Tridoshic oil, one that suits all three Doshas. Tell us when you book if you have any sensitivity and we will adjust.
Eat lightly beforehand, and leave the hour afterwards clear for rest.
There will be oil in your hair when you get up, and it is meant to stay on a while, so rest first and let it absorb. After that you can shower here before you leave, or keep the oil on longer and shower at home.

Abhyanga and Vishesh take an hour. Shirodhara takes thirty minutes and Swedana, the herbal steam, twenty. A combination such as Abhyanga with Shirodhara takes ninety minutes. The room is held for about half an hour beyond the treatment, so you can rest there and shower if you would like to.
Rest first and let the oil absorb, because it is meant to stay on the skin a while. After that you can shower here at the Health Centre, or keep it on longer and shower at home.
Yes. The treatment, the therapists, the oils and the rooms are the same. What differs is that during Panchakarma the treatment is one step in a sequence set by a Vaidya.
